Buying a cell phone in the USA?

Friday, April 27th, 2007

If you are about to buy a cell phone in the United States, I recommend you this website: www.point.com  It gives you tips on the best companies according to your needs, as well as the latest news on discounts, rebates, etc.

Personally, I figured that a T-Mobile to Go plan in which you pay as you go was the best choice for me right now since I don’t want to pay any monthly fees.  Especially since I will only be using this new cell phone on my travels to the US and NOT when I am in Mexico.

It just made more sense to only pay for what I use when I am on the road up north.

I LOVE my new phone - it is a red Motorola with some silver on it, yes, it is very cute!  AND it weighs close to nothing!

Check the site out and happy talking!

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, Be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others - Even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons - they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter, For always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career - However humble, it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is. Many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection, neither be cynical about love. For in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, It is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the council of the years, Gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune, But do not distress yourself with imaginings - Many fears are borne of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe. No less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, Keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

Maria Stella

It’s as foolish to kiss a fool, as it is to be fooled by a kiss.

People

Just got back from Washington DC and to my surprise missed the Cherry Blossoms COMPLETELY!  A cold front came into the northeast last week which brought on some snow in DC last week!

Regardless of the temperature, it was wonderful to catch up with friends, go shopping, visit museums, and enjoy the DC lifestyle. Somehow I still had time to meet some wonderful people!!!

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.

Some people come into our lives for a reason…. and at times it is pretty easy to realize what that reason is.  I have been meeting such people and each of them in quite random situations (walking down the mall, in the subway and even at bars)!

I have been meeting other drops and suddenly it almost feels like we have a puddle going on now.

April Fool’s came and went, and I forgot to play any practical jokes this year! I was too busy packing for my trip that I totally forgot!

Cause I am leaving for Washington DC tomorrow!

Can’t wait to see the Cherry Blossoms…
